London Road Level Crossing

Barrier down time at the London Road level crossing has long been a cause of concern in Bicester. This is expected to get worse as East West Rail is completed and an increased number of services operate through Bicester. EWR are currently working on proposals for the crossing, with different possibilities being considered. We must find a solution which does not cut our town in half.

This is an issue which I have worked on since I was first elected, chairing meetings with previous administrations at the District and County Council, and meeting multiple Rail Ministers to discuss it in greater detail. Read the articles below to follow the latest updates on this campaign.
