It was great to visit Fine Lady Bakeries in Banbury. This longstanding Banbury business employs over 400 people at its site in the heart of our town. Between the site in Banbury and a newer one in Manchester, Fine Lady Bakeries produce over 5 million loaves of bread every week for major supermarkets and retailers.

I was pleased to meet Managing Director Steve Cook and Sales Director David Howlett, who told me more about the company’s current operations and plans for the future. As one of the largest own-label bakery producers in the country, millions will tuck into loaves, rolls and cakes made here in Banbury every week without even realising!
