Alongside recent letters to the Chancellor of the Exchequer and Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, regarding funding for the Horton, Victoria Prentis MP has today written to the new Home Secretary, Priti Patel MP.
On Thursday 25 July, 24 hours after Boris Johnson MP took over as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Victoria Prentis MP wrote to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock MP, requesting for the Horton General Hospital to be upgraded under the new Government’s plans.
On 1 July 2019, it was announced that a new Social Fund for funerals will be introduced in England. Under the new Government scheme, families grieving the loss of a child through death or stillbirth will be given up to £2,000 to help cover funeral costs.
