New funding of £8.5 million has been made available to ensure that no veteran should sleep rough this Christmas. This is part of a broader mission to end veteran homelessness next year.
A new bespoke referral scheme – Op FORTITUDE - will enable veterans at risk of homelessness to access supported housing and wrap-around specialist care in health, housing and education. Veterans can access the scheme through a dedicated charity helpline, on the number 01748 833797.
